IFX bolsters team

IFX Payments has appointed Martin Roskott as non-executive director.

Roskott has more than 30 years of banking experience.

Roskott was previously head of finance and brokers at Barclays Bank and spent more than 18 years at N M Rothschild where he had responsibility for foreign exchange, derivatives and futures.

At Barclays Bank, Roskott had a leadership role setting the direction and strategy for a variety of non-bank financial institution clients.

These included broker/dealers, stockbrokers, futures brokers and central clearing counterparties, as well as a range of financial technology firms and payments firms.

The FX payment firm has also made some additional appointments to the board, promoting William Marwick to head of legal and James Walton to head of operations.

Nick Williams, CEO of IFX Payments, commented: “Martin Roskott has an incredible track record in the banking market, he is already proving to be an exceptional and active member of the board, providing insightful and independent viewpoints to further our success to the next level”.

He added: “I would also like to personally congratulate William Marwick and James Walton on their promotion and thank them for their outstanding contributions to the company”.

Commenting on his new role, Roskott said: “It is great to join a thriving and energetic business, where digital transformation is at its core—the company has a strong innovation-led approach and is heading towards substantial growth.”

“I am really looking forward to participating in this journey with an exceptional team of motivated and talented people”, he added.
